Privacy Policy
golocal.travel and the Go Local guides are run by Go Local (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@golocal.travel.
What this website collects
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or tracking. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and to keep the site running. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
When you buy or download a Guide
Checkout is run by our payment partner, who acts as merchant of record. To complete your order they collect your email address, name, country and payment details and process them under their own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details. They share with us what we need to deliver and support your order: your email, name, country, the product and the amount.
How we use your information
- To deliver your Guide and send its updates.
- To answer your emails and handle refunds.
- To send news about new Guides, only if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe in any email.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Emails are kept while needed to support you. Mailing-list data is deleted when you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Go Local: our payment partner (orders and payments), Vercel (hosting) and our email provider. Some are based outside your country, including in the United States, and protect data under standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@golocal.travel. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new date.
